Brentford
Dango Ouattara's equaliser against Hull City helped Brentford extend a league campaign in which they have suffered only one defeat. Keith Andrews was less satisfied with his team's overall performance, however, and wants greater consistency in possession and attacking play. Wednesday's 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat at Sunderland provided opportunities for several fringe players, but Andrews is expected to restore his strongest available side for the Premier League. Vitaly Janelt returns from suspension, while Yehor Yarmoliuk remains banned.
The midfield should feature Janelt alongside Mamadou Sangaré, with Mathias Jensen operating further forward. Ouattara and Kevin Schade are leading candidates for the wide attacking positions around Igor Thiago. Sepp van den Berg and Kristoffer Ajer are likely to renew their partnership in central defence, although Nathan Collins offers another option after starting the cup tie. Fábio Carvalho and Rico Henry remain unavailable until after the international break, while Mikkel Damsgaard is another attacking option after recovering sufficiently from his recent foot discomfort to feature against Sunderland.
