Celtic
Kieran Tierney took a couple of knocks against Falkirk, although Martin O'Neill was hopeful that he would be available against Beşiktaş. Jota is fit again but was left out against Falkirk as a precaution because of the artificial pitch, and he is not expected to start on Thursday.
Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both made their first starts in the last five matches against Falkirk, in defence and midfield respectively. Carter-Vickers is expected to retain his place, while Sam Johnstone should continue in goal. Hyun-jun Yang remains out with a hamstring injury.
Beşiktaş
Fabio Miretti remains sidelined for Beşiktaş's trip to Celtic, having started twice in the last five matches, and Orkun Kökçü looks set to miss out again because he is not fully fit. His return is not expected until after this match. Ernest Poku, who was absent through illness last time out, is expected to be available again.
In defence, Taylan Bulut and Tiago Djaló are expected at right-back and centre-back respectively. Leandro Trossard, who has started all five recent matches and scored once, is likely to continue on the left, while Hyeon-gyu Oh is expected to lead the line after three goals and an assist in that spell. Dušan Vlahović would consequently miss out up front after three starts in the same run.
