Stoke City
Lamine Cissé made his first league start of the season against Watford last time out, ending an injury absence that had kept him sidelined at the start of the campaign. He has been the sharper of Stoke City's recent options on the right, ahead of George Hirst in a role the pair have shared.
Samuel Gallagher remains out, having started twice in the side's last five matches before his injury. Jack McGlynn also started for the first time this season against Watford, giving Mark Robins another attacking option behind the forward line.
Stoke City are unbeaten in their last three league matches heading into Saturday's home game against Sheffield United.
Sheffield United
Kalvin Phillips and Oliver Arblaster both made their first starts of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, adding two options through the middle of Sheffield United's midfield. Romelle Donovan, a regular starter with four appearances from the off in the previous five matches, did not feature against Wolves.
Rhys Norrington-Davies came off the bench against Wolves after starting twice earlier in the campaign. At the back, Hamza Choudhury and Jamal Baptiste have rotated on the right without much to choose between them, while Liam Kitching and Mark McGuinness have done the same on the left.
Oluwafemi Seriki is in the final stages of his rehabilitation, while Harrison Burrows, Tahith Chong and Ryan Oné are expected to be available after the international break.
