Millwall
Luke Cundle is back in contention for Millwall after being named among the substitutes in midweek, his first involvement since August following injury. Casper De Norre and Josh Coburn remain unavailable, De Norre with an injury of his own and Coburn with a muscle problem.
In central midfield, Derek Mazou-Sacko and Jenson Metcalfe continue to share the workload, although using Mazou-Sacko in quick succession remains a concern given his own recent return from injury. Romain Esse, who had started two of Millwall's recent matches, did not feature at all last time out.
West Ham United
Joël Veltman was withdrawn early against Wrexham with an injury and was then left out of West Ham's Cup tie against Fulham as a precaution, leaving his availability for the trip to Millwall unclear. He had shared right-back duties with Kyle Walker-Peters, who has started three of the last five matches but was used from the bench rather than in the eleven against Wrexham.
At left-back, Oliver Scarles has been the more regular starter, though Morato made his first start of the campaign against Wrexham. Edvin Austbö, who has started only once in the last five matches, did not feature in that game.
Tomáš Souček has returned to parts of team training after his ankle injury but is not yet available to play, while Alphonse Areola remains out. Valentín Castellanos has continued playing despite tendon discomfort that Nuno Espírito Santo says is easing.
