West Ham United
West Ham have used three different systems across their last five matches and look set to use the shape that has featured only once in that spell. Taty Castellanos is expected to start, although Pablo remains the alternative for that place.
Jarrod Bowen has been involved in six of West Ham's goals over the last five games, with three of his own and three assists, while centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos has also contributed three goals in the same spell. Joël Piroe is not expected to start after his most recent appearance came as a substitute against Swansea City, while Keiber Lamadrid is unavailable through injury.
Southampton
Flynn Downes is not expected to start for Southampton at West Ham as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. The midfielder had started four of the last five games, but his availability depends on how much pain he can tolerate. Cameron Bragg, who started twice in that spell, is expected to partner James Ward-Prowse in midfield.
At right-back, James Bree is expected to continue after starting four of the last five games. Welington made his first start in five games against Bolton Wanderers and is competing with Ryan Manning on the left. Cyle Larin felt something in his leg after a collision and was due to be assessed, although there was hope that he would be available; he remains the alternative to Lewis Dobbin up front.
