Watford

Watford have several defenders available again for the visit of Burnley. Soumaïla Coulibaly, Jordan Zemura, Omar Traoré and Marc Bola can all be selected, although the returning players are not yet ready to play 90 minutes. Coulibaly and Branimir Mlacic are the alternatives at centre-back after Mlacic made his first start in the defeat at Bristol City.

Traoré is expected to start at left-back rather than Zemura, while Kévin Keben and Mattie Pollock should retain their places in defence. Krépin Diatta has joined Watford on a free transfer. Edoardo Bove, Jeremy Ngakia and Kwadwo Baah remain unavailable and are not expected to return until after the international break in November.

Burnley

Grégoire Coudert, Lucas Pires and Marcus Edwards all look set to keep their places after making their first starts against Derby County. Aaron Ramsey remains out with a hamstring injury after missing that match.

Zeki Amdouni, who has scored twice and added an assist in his last five matches, is expected to start again, with Josh Laurent and Max Alleyne offering support from midfield. Coudert should continue in goal after replacing Max Weiß against Derby County, with Anel Ahmedhodzic and Igor Julio expected in central defence.
