Southampton
Flynn Downes and Cyle Larin are both back in contention for Southampton's home game with Queens Park Rangers. Tonda Eckert was quite positive that both would be involved after they missed the win at West Ham through injury.
James Bree continues at right-back ahead of Zach Abbott, while Caspar Jander keeps his place in central midfield after making his first start in Southampton's last five matches in that win. James Ward-Prowse and Finn Azaz are also expected to retain their roles.
Queens Park Rangers
Queens Park Rangers travel to Southampton with three players already ruled out until after the November international break: Lamptey, Madsen and Burrell. Madsen's absence is the bigger loss in midfield, where he had started three of the last five games before his injury. Karamoko Dembele offers some compensation after returning from a long-term knee injury as a second-half substitute against Swansea City.
Boy Kemper has a knock that is expected to last only a few days and was due to be assessed before kick-off, though he remains at left-back for now. Ronnie Edwards has the edge over Jake Clarke-Salter at left centre-back, while Kealey Adamson is expected to continue on the right. Up front, Richard Kone keeps his place after making his first start in five matches against Swansea City, a spell in which he has scored three times.
