Napoli
Napoli have two enforced changes to contend with before hosting Arsenal. Frank Anguissa, ever-present in Napoli's last three matches, is out with a muscle injury, and Scott McTominay, who started two of those same three games, also misses out with a heart problem.
At left-back, Mathías Olivera is expected to come in for Leonardo Spinazzola, who has otherwise held the position for the last two matches. Kevin De Bruyne, used only from the bench in Napoli's last three matches, is pencilled in for a rare start further forward. David Neres is doubtful because of a knee issue, though he has not been ruled out.
Arsenal
Jurrien Timber is back in an Arsenal squad for the first time since March. The full-back, who needed surgery on a groin injury, returned to training this week and has been included for the trip to Napoli, though Ben White remains the more likely starter at right-back for the Gunners.
Elsewhere, Ezri Konsa continues at centre-back, having made his first start there against Chelsea last time out, with regular partner Cristhian Mosquera sidelined by a muscle injury. Declan Rice keeps his place in a deeper midfield role, having shaded a shared contest there with Myles Lewis-Skelly. Martin Ødegaard leads the side again despite being substituted before the end in each of his last three starts.
