SC Paderborn
Marvin Pieringer's availability for Saturday's meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt remains undecided. Examinations found no significant abnormalities, but he was still training individually this week. Steffen Tigges, who has scored twice in his last two starts, is the alternative if Pieringer is unavailable.
Gabriel Vidović returned from a foot injury to start the draw at Borussia Mönchengladbach and is expected to keep his place. Tom Baack, given his first recent start in that match, should also continue, with Santiago Castaneda and Laurin Curda likely to retain their central midfield roles.
Eintracht Frankfurt
Younes Ebnoutalib is expected to keep his place in Eintracht Frankfurt's attack, although Jonathan Burkardt remains an alternative. Ebnoutalib has scored three goals in his last four starts, while Burkardt started four of the last five matches before appearing as a substitute in the win over Hamburger SV.
At left-back, the choice is between Keita Kosugi and Ansgar Knauff, with Kosugi the more likely starter after beginning four of the last five matches. Jessic Ngankam remains doubtful because of a thigh problem. Raphael Onyedika and Ritsu Doan should continue in midfield, with Robin Koch and Lilian Brassier again expected at centre-back.
