Udinese head into Friday's trip to Venezia under new management: Paolo Zanetti was appointed on November 2 after Kosta Runjaic was sacked. James Abankwah is expected at right-back, while Keinan Davis should lead the line. Alessandro Zanoli remained unavailable with a physical problem on Wednesday and is doubtful for the trip.

In midfield, Zanetti still has a decision to make between Lennon Miller, who made his first start of the last five matches against Roma, and Jakub Piotrowski. Hassane Kamara is suspended, while Nicolò Zaniolo and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp are expected to support Davis further forward.
