Napoli

Alex Meret has returned to group training after a groin injury and is available for selection against Frosinone, though Vanja Milinković-Savić looks set to continue in goal after starting the last match. Leonardo Spinazzola is also back after a thigh issue and is expected to return at left-back, having started twice there to Mathías Olivera's two over the last five matches.

Luca Marianucci and Giovane Nascimento returned to training this week after their own spells on the sidelines, while Scott McTominay has received medical clearance and resumed team training following surgery for a mild benign arrhythmia. Alessandro Buongiorno remains out with a knee injury.

Rasmus Højlund has started in each of the last five matches but been substituted every time, with Kevin De Bruyne and Matteo Politano continuing to support him in attack.

Frosinone

Antonio Raimondo is a doubt because of a health issue, putting his involvement in question after starting all five league matches so far as Frosinone's main striker. Giorgi Kvernadze, who has scored three goals in his last five appearances, is set to continue on the left of the attack.

Daniel Birligea has been ruled out for at least two weeks after sustaining a muscle injury in his left thigh, and Florian Grillitsch is not expected to return before November following surgery in September. Terzic's availability is also uncertain because of a thigh problem.

Anthony Oyono is expected to continue at right-back after starting there three times in the last five matches. Ilario Monterisi is likely to partner Gabriele Calvani in central defence, while Lorenzo Palmisani keeps his place in goal after starting each of the last five matches.
