Lazio

Gustav Isaksen is set to start on the right of Lazio's front three ahead of Matteo Cancellieri after making one start there in the last five matches to Cancellieri's four. Danilho Doekhi faces a similar fight to force his way back into the side at centre-back, with Josip Šutalo currently preferred there after Doekhi started three of the last five games to his two.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has recovered from the hamstring injury that had kept him sidelined and is available for selection again, though he does not yet have a clear starting role. Patric remains out with a sprained ankle.

Davide Frattesi has scored three goals in his last five appearances and continues on the right of midfield, with Mattia Zaccagni — who has one goal and two assists in the same period — keeping his place on the left. Lazio have used the same 4-3-3 shape in each of their last five matches, and Romano Floriani continues at right-back after four starts there to Adam Marušić's one.

Monza

Noel Törnqvist is expected to keep his place in goal for Monza after taking over from Demba Thiam last time out against Sassuolo, when he made his first start of the recent run. Thiam had started three of the previous four matches. In attack, Patrick Cutrone is expected to come in for Andrea Colpani on the right, with Colpani having started three of the last five games in that role.

Gustavo Varela should continue through the middle after scoring four goals in his last four starts, and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is expected to keep his place in central midfield, having started three of the last five matches to Mathis Mout's two. Monza are otherwise expected to retain much of the side that beat Sassuolo.
