Espanyol
Rafel Bauzà is expected to keep his place for Espanyol's home game against Deportivo La Coruña after making his first start of the recent run in last weekend's 1-0 win at Villarreal. Lopez is favoured at left-back, although Quilindschy Hartman remains the alternative.
Clemens Riedel remains doubtful and has started only twice in the last five matches, with Leandro Cabrera and Vanja Drkušić expected to form the centre-back pairing again. Up front, Jofre Carreras and Kike García remain out through injury, so Roberto Fernández is likely to lead the line once more, with Bryan Zaragoza and Javi Hernández in support.
Deportivo La Coruna
Bright Ede is doubtful with a hamstring injury for the trip to Espanyol, having started three of Deportivo's last five matches. José Giménez and Miguel Loureiro are expected to form the central-defensive pairing, while Lorenzo Amatucci and Diego Villares are competing for a midfield place. The other open choice is between David Mella and Riki Rodríguez further forward.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to return to the starting line-up after coming back from injury in Monday's win over Osasuna. Marc Casadó and Zakaria Eddahchouri continue to combine group training with supervised rehabilitation work as they recover from a collarbone problem and a wrist injury respectively.
