Union Sint-Gillis
Adem Zorgane is suspended for Thursday's visit of Real Sociedad, while Kevin Mac Allister remains out with a knee injury. Ondřej Kričfaluši will also miss the match, and neither Rob Schoofs nor Kevin Rodríguez is expected back until the following week.
Nikki Havenaar should continue on the right of the defence, with Massiré Sylla in the centre. Schoofs is nevertheless expected to start in midfield despite his return being scheduled for the following week, creating uncertainty around that position. Union Sint-Gillis sit fifth with three points after a 3-0 win away to Viktoria Plzeň.
Real Sociedad
Two separate injuries have deprived Real Sociedad of two recent right-back options for the trip to Union Sint-Gillis. Jon Aramburu is sidelined with a muscle injury, while Luken Beitia sprained his left ankle and is out too, with his return depending on his recovery. The pair had taken three of the last five starts between them at right-back, so Héctor Fort is expected to fill the role. In goal, the choice remains between Unai Marrero and Álex Remiro.
There are more decisions further forward. Igor Zubeldia and Mamadou Sarr are the alternatives at centre-back, while Ander Barrenetxea is competing with Gonçalo Guedes and Luka Sučić with Carlos Soler. Soler has a goal and three assists from four starts in the last five matches. Orri Óskarsson is available after serving a suspension, while Álex Marchal has recovered from an illness.
