Lyon
Lyon will be without Ikoma-Loïs Openda for the visit of Crystal Palace, while Moussa Niakhaté is also expected to miss out with a hamstring injury after not playing in the win at Lens.
Ruben Kluivert is in line to continue in defence in Niakhaté's absence, while further forward Mohamed Ouédraogo faces several months out after rupturing a cruciate ligament in training. Julien Duranville is back in the squad after a spell out. Lyon currently sit 11th with three points after their win at Anderlecht.
Crystal Palace
Jean-Philippe Mateta, Dean Henderson and Takehiro Tomiyasu could return either against Lyon or Brighton, although none of the three featured against Nottingham Forest. Walter Benítez is therefore expected to continue in goal, while Chris Richards should return at right-back in place of Jefferson Lerma, who is unavailable after starting that match.
The Eagles are second after opening with a 4-0 win over Lech Poznań. Jørgen Strand Larsen is expected to lead the line again, having been substituted in each of his four recent starts. Anan Khalaili should also retain his right-sided role after recovering from the injury he suffered during the international break.
