sc Heerenveen
Veldeman is expected to make few changes to sc Heerenveen's side for Feyenoord's visit. Jacob Trenskow should retain his place on the right of the attack after starting all five recent matches, scoring four goals and setting up two more.
The same continuity is expected at the back, where Maas Willemsen should remain on the left of central defence. He has started four of the last five matches, while Hristiyan Petrov, the other recent choice in that position, did not feature against NEC and is not expected to return to the side.
Feyenoord
Feyenoord could welcome back Jakub Moder and Gijs Smal for the trip to Heerenveen. Jeremiah St. Juste will not return before the international break, however, as he remains out with a shin injury.
At centre-back, Tsuyoshi Watanabe is in line to start after featuring as a substitute against Inter Milan. He is expected to partner Mika Mármol, with Thijs Kraaijeveld missing out this time after two recent starts in that role.
Further forward, Anis Hadj Moussa should continue in his regular position, having scored once and set up another across the last five matches. Reiss Nelson is also available again after recovering in time for the Inter Milan game.
