FC Twente
John van den Brom has ruled out extensive rotation after Twente's emphatic win at Excelsior. He confirmed that Daouda Weidmann will play again, having served his domestic suspension at the weekend. Thomas van den Belt scored and assisted as his replacement in the 9-0 victory, but Weidmann is expected to reclaim the midfield position alongside Ramiz Zerrouki.
Sondre Ørjasæter strengthened his case for another start with five assists at Excelsior, while Wout Weghorst scored four times. Younes Taha and Daan Rots are likely to retain their attacking roles, leaving Marko Pjaca as a strong option from the bench. At the back, Joël Drommel should continue in goal behind a defence led by Robin Pröpper and Ruud Nijstad. Lars Unnerstall, Max Bruns, Stav Lemkin and Filip Thorvaldsen remain unavailable. Although Ajax visit on Sunday, the manager has made clear that he does not intend to make many changes.
