Riccardo Orsolini has been ruled out of Bologna's match against Inter Milan with a new thigh injury, one the club expects to keep him out for around three weeks after he started the last match at Lecce. Arthur Theate and Jens Odgaard, meanwhile, have each worked with the group again in training this week. Theate's return gives Raffaele Palladino a straight choice with Matteo Darmian for one centre-back spot.
Nicolò Casale, who made his first start of this run at Lecce last time out, keeps his place in defence alongside Torbjørn Heggem, an ever-present in that back line. Nicolò Cambiaghi, with two assists in Bologna's last five games, keeps his spot further forward. Federico Bernardeschi, used only as a late substitute last time out, returns to the attacking two.
