Zulte Waregem
Zulte Waregem still have Wilguens Paugain sidelined by injury as they try to respond to a 3-0 defeat at Anderlecht. Salim Diakite made his first league start in that game, while Franz Tangala, a regular at right-back with four starts in the last five matches, was restricted to a late appearance instead.
Anosike Ementa is not expected to start despite beginning all five of the club's recent matches and recording a goal and three assists in that spell. Beale's side have shuffled between a 4-3-3 and a 4-3-2-1 in those games, with Thomas Claes and Marley Ake sharing the right-sided midfield role.
KAA Gent
KAA Gent will be without three regulars for the trip to Zulte Waregem. Mouhamed Ngom, an ever-present at right-back over the last five matches, is out with a torn cruciate ligament, while Josué Vergara, who had started each of Gent's last five games, suffered a muscle injury while with Panama and is also sidelined. László Bénes, who has started twice in that run, misses out with an ankle problem.
There is better news further forward: Max Dean, who is yet to feature for Gent, is available for selection again, while Matisse Samoise also returns after building up match rhythm with Jong Gent, though his minutes will be managed carefully. Matties Volckaert, Kyrell Wilson and Michel-Ange Balikwisha have rotated on the right side of midfield in recent matches.
