Pre-match preview

KRC Genk

Kevin Amaro keeps his place at right-back after making the first start of his Genk career against Anderlecht. Zakaria El Ouahdi, who started the previous four matches there and has generally been the stronger of the two, was an unused option last time out and stays out again.

Both Jeppe Erenbjerg and Rafiu Durosinmi have started all five league matches this season without finishing any of them, each substituted at some point in the closing half hour in every game. Matte Smets, preferred to Nikolas Sattlberger for four of the five matches at right centre-back, also continues.

KAA Gent

Kyrell Wilson is expected to return to KAA Gent's starting eleven after he did not play against Cercle Brugge. He and Matties Volckaert have shared the right midfield role in recent matches, with little difference between their performances, but Wilson is expected to get the place against KRC Genk.

The central midfield places have also changed hands between Tibe De Vlieger and Mathias Delorge, although Delorge has shown the stronger form. Both are expected to start this time. Michel-Ange Balikwisha should retain his place after making his first start against Cercle Brugge last weekend.
