Fulham
David Affengruber made his first Premier League start in Fulham's goalless draw at Liverpool and is expected to retain his place at right centre-back for Sunday's visit of Manchester United, with Joachim Andersen again missing out. On the other side of that pairing, Jorge Cuenca played better in his one appearance there than Calvin Bassey has recently, though Bassey is expected to continue.
Oscar Bobb has started all four of the Cottagers' league games without finishing any of them, coming off somewhere between the 63rd and 79th minute each time. Fulham go into the game against United without a win in four, sitting 18th in the table.
Manchester United
Two fitness calls remain open for Manchester United ahead of the trip to Fulham. Luke Shaw and Carlos Baleba are both carrying knocks. Shaw's issue is short-term, while Baleba is managing an ankle problem from pre-season, and neither is fully fit yet. Shaw sat out the last game entirely, and Patrick Dorgu is expected to continue at left-back.
Elsewhere, two places keep rotating without a clear winner. Diogo Dalot has had the right-back shirt more often than Noussair Mazraoui, while Harry Maguire has started ahead of Leny Yoro at centre-back. Dalot and Maguire are expected to get the nod again. Bruno Fernandes has played every minute of United's last five matches, scoring four goals and adding an assist, and Matheus Cunha is expected through the middle, with Benjamin Šeško still waiting for a recall to the starting eleven.
